About Us

We’re Sara & Jesse -- an American couple who feel strongly connected to the Oaxacan coast. Having first visited here in 2015, we fell in love with the charm and beauty found in the people and the many bays of Huatulco. We quickly realized this place was beckoning us to return time and time again. We purchased our first home in 2019 (Casita Sarafina) in the beautiful bay of La Mina. In 2022, we purchased our second home and named it Casa Flores del Mar (house of flowers by the sea). We spend the majority of our time in America but love returning to the Oaxacan coast throughout the year. We now enjoy a diverse and enriching community of friends and chosen family, which grows every time we spend time on this coast.
